Agreement
These terms are between you and Good Future Studio (“we”, “us”), and cover the Arkin iPhone app and arkin.ai. By using Arkin you agree to them. If you get Arkin from the App Store or TestFlight, Apple’s terms for those services also apply.
What Arkin is
Arkin reads the calendars, email and reminders you connect, on your iPhone, and prepares information and suggested next steps. Arkin does not send, book, buy or accept anything on its own. Any action happens only when you tap, or when you’ve turned on something that does it for you, like holding time for a rhythm.
Estimates are estimates
Leave times, travel times, booking details, weather and briefings come from your sources, live traffic and an on-device language model. They can be late, incomplete or wrong. Arkin labels guesses as guesses, but you’re responsible for checking anything time-critical, such as a flight, with the original source.
The beta
Arkin is in a private beta. Features may change or disappear, and things may break. The beta is free. If we introduce paid features, we’ll tell you the price before you’re charged anything, and payments will go through Apple.
Your accounts and data
You’re responsible for the Google or Apple accounts you connect, and you can disconnect them at any time. How data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
Fair use
Don’t use Arkin to break the law, to access accounts that aren’t yours, or to reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the app.
Ownership
Arkin, its name, logo and software belong to Good Future Studio. Your data stays yours.
No warranty
Arkin is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Good Future Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed flight or appointment, arising from your use of Arkin. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Arkin at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Changes and law
We’ll post changes here and update the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province where Good Future Studio is based.
